Prime Video presently has all three of Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings films available. Must observe everything, everything.
Simply avoid watching The Hobbit movies!
2. Love and Monsters (2020)
One of those titles that actually lives up to its description is this one. Exists love? Yep. Exist any monsters? Of course. The underappreciated film Love and Monsters stars Dylan O’Brien as a young man attempting to get back in touch with his high school girlfriend after the end of the world while surrounded by monsters.
3. Groundhog Day
According to some, Bill Murray gave one of his best performances ever in Groundhog Day, one of the most renowned comedies ever created.
However, the picture is most well-known for its lofty concept. Bill Murray’s character is compelled to repeat the same day over and over because he is trapped in Groundhog Day.
4. Cinderella (2021)
This Cinderella remake, which features Camila Cabello (and, yes, James Corden as a gigantic rat), is a jukebox musical that, once you get beyond how obnoxious it is, is quite entertaining. With a feisty Cinderella in charge, it’s a lighthearted time.
5. Dorian Gray (2009)
This 2009 film, which is an adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s classic novel The Picture of Dorian Gray, depicts the tale of Dorian Gray (Ben Barnes) and the painting he hides away and watches age and become more polluted while he continues to live in perpetual youth. Colin Firth plays Lord Henry Wotton in the movie as well.
6. Pinocchio (2019)
This Italian live-action Pinocchio is one that will linger with you long after you watch it. The movie tells the tale of young puppet kid Pinocchio and his journey to become a real boy, starring Federico Ielapi as Pinocchio and Roberto Benigni as Geppetto. It works, however it can occasionally turn dark.
7. Highlander (1986)
There can only be one, the top slot on this list. Highlander is a timeless fantasy action film starring Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery that depicts the tale of an immortal warrior who must battle other immortals in a long-running, clandestine conflict. It’s one of those films that has become a cult favourite; even though it’s not the best, it’s worth watching just to hear Lambert’s distinctive accent.
