Realme GT Neo 5 Could Launch With Up to 5,000mAh Battery and 240W Support for Fast Charging

The Realme GT Neo 5 is allegedly in development. The next handset’s battery and camera specifications have appeared online before any official announcement. According to a recent leak, there will be two battery options for the Realme GT Neo 5: a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast

charging and a 5,000mAh battery with 150W fast charging. The Realme GT Neo 5 series will reportedly have the Sony IMX890 primary camera sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). The future versions might take the place of the Realme GT Neo 3.

The Realme GT Neo 5 will allegedly be available in two varieties with varying battery and charging specifications, according to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. He claims that the BLP985 battery is 5,000mAh and supports 150W fast charging, while the BLP987 battery is 4,600mAh and supports 240W fast charging.

The informant added that the Realme GT Neo 5 will utilise the OIS-capable Sony IMX890 main sensor.Compared to the Realme GT Neo 3 series, this would be an improvement.

Realme has not officially announced the Realme GT Neo 5 launch. The general consensus is that it will, however, become official in the first half of 2019.

The Realme GT Neo 5 series is projected to take the place of the Realme GT Neo 3 series. Realme GT Neo 3’s entry-level 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model debuted in China in March of this year for a starting price of CNY 1,999. (approximately Rs. 24,000).

The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G SoC powers the gaming-focused Realme GT Neo 3, which has a 120Hz refresh rate display. A 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and a 4,500mAh battery with 150W fast charging where the two battery capacities offered. It offers a maximum of 256GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM. Other notable features of the Realme GT Neo 3 include triple rear cameras led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, speakers that support Dolby Atmos, and support for 150W UltraDart charging technology.
